A grifters board or section

There seems to be an upswing of grifters trying to get guys to send a deposit in. It could be a real escort, but I've read that several guys are behind this, also. They steal other real escorts' pictures/info to create this.

I looked in TER and didn't see a fake/grifter section. Sometimes we need more time to see what happens.

Here is my thought: Put a ripoff/grifter section just for this, not having to look thru the reviews. It should be accessible to anybody, with the contact info they use and web site. You never know; it might get more guys to become a member. Put it right on top or under the general discussion boards. Since they sometimes use other escort pictures, mention that...I've seen them use a PS photo. Over the years, the good escorts get this info out there, and they find out which escorts the images belong to. There was one on the east coast a few years ago, and other escorts picked up on that, and it turned out she was a grifter. I saw most of the info on Twitter. It might be better for the clients to have it on here. Because when people do this, it hurts both ends of the business. It could even make escorts, in general, look bad because guys will never trust giving a deposit to any escort, even if a specific companion has never done this.

I'm not discussing a date when the chemistry was absent; a client seeks to hurt her reputation. Clients have used the reviews to break their future because the date was dull or she didn't do a specific fantasy. But TER would need 100% proof that this person was grifting. There are a lot of fake ads on some sites; they either steal escort info or somebody puts it up. If there is a fake review, TER will eventually take it down, but it should stay up in this separate grifter board. So another person might not have seen it; this way, all clients could still see it in the future.

It is more work for the TER administrators to handle, but it's worth it. IMO. Am I wrong about this?

The reality is that once one makes the list and she knows about it new name new pictures and the game moves on.
Was a review today— would that be bad service or on your grifting list?

Your first sentence is very accurate, but we should try to catch up. A bad review would not belong on this board I was talking about; those can stay in the reviews. I'm talking about the grifts. Where a person steals photos, even current photos, and sets up an ad, to get money...nothing in return. The big one now is that grifters are doing similar escort ads. Because if it continues or gets worst, no client that will make any deposit. I'm not a total no-deposit guy. But if this starts to happen, it will get worse. Guys have to think before sending in the money. The one yesterday that I saw is they used pictures of a model. The rate they wanted was three franklins, and she was in Miami!! Nowadays, three is on the lower end in most of the country. Plus, guys don't use it for revenge reasons.

It happened some time ago; I knew the ad was a fake... signs all over it as a fake. All of a sudden, that person follows me.

In the More Searches menu there is an option for Rip-Offs where you can search for profiles that have been flagged as Rip-Offs.    I don't know how TER decides which profiles get that tag but that's probably where what you are describing would fit.

An escort told me that most of these guys were doing the grift. You can't put any description in because it's all fake. I thought of just those set up to get a guy to give the cash for nothing.

I have learned, like others, that escorts can be a very reliable source of info. I have found a lot of escorts this way. Some of the most extended periods I've seen an escort were initially recommended to me by another escort. What she is like etc.

But this one escort told me that some of those ripoffs are clients that set up the grift and use the money to go and see other escorts.

That's going to fall into the same general category as things like NCNS.  TER has never had a place beyond the discussion boards where such things are documented.  But it certainly would be nice.

I did tell this person that I was talking to. That if this continued, it would hurt the bottom line too. Plenty of clients might only see an escort once and a while; one reason might be cash flow. But if he gets caught in this grift, he loses his money...he's never going to get it back. So it might be a while until he tries again, then he will not make a deposit.

I've seen some of these ads, and they are getting more professional in their presentation. Even a few escorts have pointed out what to look out for. Mainly she is hot and is below the market rate. Always think thru your brain, not the little guy.

True, but will we come to a stalemate? What if the things that we use do not start to disappear? Most of the time, if I would travel, they ask for a deposit if you're out of town. I've never had any issues with being ripped off or tried to when going to another city. This was before the transfer app boom. But I knew her real name and her account number for a transfer. But at that time, we were like old friends that never met.

But with that, I wouldn't give it up immediately; I have some security. I will never use an agency again; that's my number one security.
