Hello there! Recently, I decided to make the move from Squarespace to Wordpress for my website. I wanted to move away from Squarespace's template style to Wordpress to have more control over the look/aesthetic of the site and greater SEO capabilities.

That said, IF you take the time to read a provider's website, besides the "lookbook" (re: gallery of photos) and the rates, what are other tidbits you'd like to/prefer to see on a provider's website?

Thanks in advance for the insight!

- All external links (Twitter, OF, Wishlist, etc) in an easy to digest page
- A brief bio/likes/dislikes
- Calendar/Tour info
- A simplified screening form
- At least one page dedicated to your favorite hobbyist (feel free to put me on that one…. 🤣)

This is good information! The simplified screening form is spot on. I did some market research and it was interesting. Some people have very short forms where you only input the bare minimum but they ask for more info in follow up emails. Others had forms that were way too long or at least looked long due to the constraints of their website. It's a fine line to walk to make it feel easy and quick while also getting as much info in one fell swoop.

I'm stoked I found a form that uses conditional logic. So if the user answers the question "How would you like to be verified" with "provider references" then the relevant questions they need to answer appear, same goes for employment verification, or ID if they opt to use that route.

And a page dedicated to my favorite client and/or clients? Hmmm that's what the members only area will be for.

It should be laid out in a clear format so that someone thinking of making an appointment can easily find out how to do this and what requirements you have.  Having to look through multiple pages on a web site to find out these things is undesirable and downright annoying when inconsistent or contradictory across multiple pages.

This might seem obvious, but I’ve seen a number of provider sites that give no clue what town she’s in!  (Not Paige’s to be sure.) And nowadays you can’t presume the area code is telling you much.

Besides the city, I’d appreciate knowing a rough approximation of what quadrant or neighborhood of the city the provider uses for incall, just so I can get a sense of whether this is an hour away or nearby, or maybe if I’d Uber versus drive. I’m presuming that can be stated vaguely enough to protect the provider.

a couple of principles:
don't create something that needs to be frequently updated, making work for you and guaranteeing it will fall out of date at some point
do create something that can be updated easily and frequently, i.e. with simple cut and paste, on the front page, where changes garner looks.

saw your new site and it looks good. Necessary info is easy to find and there's enough content for people who want to get to know you more. Good job.
