Yesterday morning between 4 and 5 AM, I composed and submitted my new ad. The moment I hit the "post message", a glaring typo smacked me in the face.
Should I just leave it? or fix it? Knowing that our moderators are all gone, I wondered what will happen if I fix it and re-submit it for approval. I always knew in the past that our wonderful moderator would get to it when he woke up, and within a few hours it would post. But now, I was unsure of the consequences to repair the flaw in my ad.
My decision was a difficult one to make. Should I risk appearing a complete idiot? (I am okay with partial idiot), and let it go? Or fix it and risk the ad not appearing? Hummm..... I fixed it, I re-submitted it, and I waited, and waited and, yes I waited.
Late in the afternoon, nearly 10 hours later, I made the decision to rewrite and post a new ad.
My thought - It would save a lot of hassle for TER and the ad composer, if we could just delete our own ads versus correcting and then re-submitting the ads.
P.S. If you see a typo in this post, it's because I have decided to intentionally let it go. If you do not see this post, then I fixed it.
I think your're pretty safe that we won't put you in the "idiot' catagory for a typo or two, no matter how glaring![]()
Now I will admit to moving quickly past a few BP ads when the sentence structure, spelling, and generally un-readability of the ad makes me wanna slap someone and send them back to grade school (disclaimer...I would never actually slap someone for thier grammer, or lack thereof)
Some girls may actually take that as a welcome approach to a lesson learned!

Anyone SAW Lilly? Cute! ![]()
I have been chuckling about that one all morning. Just been hoping no one said they did!
***Edited to fix my typo
I just have to said, you too are two mean. What? I guy has to wrote an essay with correct speling two see either of ewe?
A prerequisite for seeing me (and Melissa too I bet!

PS.....I hope Lilly's ok!!

act of sawing a woman in two, right? Or playing a woman like a saw? Or . . . Aww, I give up!
I have been known to "axe" a few questions...![]()
... are generally an indicator of a persons organization and attention to detail habits - much like how clean a person keeps their car - dusty and full of yesterday's wrappers and opened mail vs washed, waxed and vacuumed - and the condition of the shoes they wear - worn & scuffed vs clean and polished - simple details, but they visually and very quickly give you a snapshot of the person. I think these impressions are important and I notice these little things and can't help but make quick judgements as I read - but, they are based on the severity of the "Faux Pas"! ....... Everyone makes these little typo's from time to time - it just happens. Some people reread out loud to themselves what they've written before hitting enter to catch the obvious errors - some people just let it fly. To each their own.
Partial idiot is generally fine by me ........ but well put together is certainly better. I must admit I have read some provider posts and have formed an impression due to "complete idiot syndrome"! (Not any of yours though Melissa!) I think you - but don't actually "know" yet ....... are quite well put together!!
And .... I might add - it even ticks ME off when I miss my own typo's in my comments, posts, emails ... etc. I hope for God's sake I didn't miss any in this reply - at the risk of being tagged "complete idiot" ..... but I did reread it out loud ..............!
well now, you are clearly an elliptical thinker, and show it with your punctuation. (i too think and write rather . . . eliptically . . . and find it a sign of advanced intelligence and taste!)
We're somehow less trustworthy on the edit? (I've resorted to the same technique to void screw-ups.)
Or maybe this is all changing shortly ...
.............
I wouldn't worry about it.
Read some reviews.
Talk about unstructured, run on sentences, terrible flow and general hard to follow comments on their experience.
Until posters of reviews are writting quality work I don't an escorts ad with a typo should be looked as a negative unless the entire ad is gobbly gook. Now if you priced an HR for ten bucks that is completely acceptable. ![]()
There are probably errors in this post. These iPhones can be annoying to type messages.
On the ad or post I made a mistake on, I just hit edit button, type "delete please" in the subject line, remove all text from the message area and submit, it then goes into queue for review. I immediately post a new ad with the proper corrections made. This way, the mods or now admin, will not post the first one and my ad is up right away with no waiting!
