Hello all!

It looks like I will be hanging out in Mankato today, and was wondering what is worth checking out! Google is obviously my friend in this situation, but its always nice to get it firsthand from natives ;) I love seafood, so if you know of a great restaurant that'd be helpful. What's a must see here?! Is there a downtown? Lol.

If you had waited 2 weeks The Vikings would be in town for their training camp.  
     
Not much of a down town the college kids have the Bar-muda Triangle. this is in the Cherry and Front Street area.

It's a beautiful day I'd recommend the sculpture walk on second street I'm very impressed with this years submissions

If you want a nice place to eat I'd recommend Olive's in the Hilton downtown I do not have a seafood recommendation for  Kato, sorry.

Is training camp the highlight here? Lol. I've heard the same twice already. I hadn't planned on coming, but a special appointment brought me to the area.  

This is a college town?! Hmmm.. Now I wonder if there will be much activity in that area since it is summer. If so, my day is set! Lol. Maybe I will go out and make a few new pals!  

Thank you for your suggestions. I will look them up! The weather IS amazing so no matter what I do there will be a nice walk involved ;)
