Restaurants depends upon the type of cuisine you are looking for...

For High End Steakhouse, Manny's is the best in town.
For Seafood, Oceanaire.
For a unique local burger experience, the 5/8 club in Minneapolis or the Nook in St. Paul.

I can make other recommendations, but I would require more direction from yo

Food Wars settled that debate

Matt's without a doubt over 5/8ths.. Frying a burger for a JL is much better then grilled.

Well...

I have been to Matt's once and 5/8 multiple times.

My barber told me a story of going to Matt's.

He was sitting down waiting to order when a Matt's employee was engaged in combining the contents of multiple ketchup bottles. He poured the contents of one bottle into another and then to make certain he had gotten all he could from the former bottle, he stuck his finger into the bottle to clean out the ketchup. He then licked his finger clean of ketchup and started on the next bottle without washing his hands.

Do you believe everything your barber tells you? I have been there multiple times, have never seen anything even close to that. To each their own...oh, yes, the burgers are finger-licking good...
