It all starts with the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen. These feed our basic need to reproduce. If we lack these for long, we slow down and quit trying in life. We know we exist, but forget why.  
   
 Next comes adrenaline. This will cause either sex to act a bit strangely in an effort to get noticed. The ritual of dancing seems to have come from this. It also causes us to want to impress the potential partner.  
   
 Probably the most powerful and dangerous chemicals in the mix are serotonin and dopamine. Dopamine is the most powerful brain drug that your body can produce and several recreational drugs cause it to be released. Serotonin is the one that causes you to think about that special someone repeatedly. These powerful drugs are the ones we crave!  
   
 Finally there are two more hormones, oxytocin and vasopressin. These cause a deep human bond that's intended to last long enough to raise children. If you've ever known a provider or client that you think about or miss for some time afterwards, it's because you produced these while in their company.
