What time frame are we talking about?  The last few weeks?  The last few months?  The Year?  Since the 2008?

I also wonder if it being tax season is a factor in which case it might loosen up afterwards.  There has also been rising prices in some segments of the market and that could easily be resulting in guys looking for less expensive options.

Good point... 2012 taxes and possible first payment of estimated 2013 taxes depending on how you run things.

Too many guys watching basketball instead of providers, maybe.  Not to mention NBA, NHL, state high school tournaments, spring break time for kids/families meaning travel for many people... lots of stuff going on the past 2 weeks.  And of course, this week is a big one for Christians and Jews.

Slow January, bad February, taxes, insurance, March goes off like a rocket working 70 hrs a week. Cash in pocket with no go to girls because hard to give the info that makes it work for them. To tired to find one that fits my schedule . However I was blessed with a couple of visits to Azalia. Gave a thought to a couple of our other top providers and quit, it is Saturday. I am headed to Cancun alone with a big condo rented next week. Several books, two seasons of A game of thorns on the iPad. Tired of work, employees, the fam, the weather. LOL maybe next month ill get back on the hobby horse. BTW just got a notice from TER, my membership runs out in 9 days

Tight money generally, tax season tightness, and LE are definitely factors for slow business now.

We have also been lucky to have had perhaps the best selection of truly top-rate providers emerge, or stay on the scene, over the last couple of years:  women who are intelligent, witty and imaginative, who are genuine and engaging, and who love their work and let it show.  If I started to name names, this post would never end, but you're going to have to choose between A or B or C.  Time and money, no matter how abundant, are still finite.  And the selection is well beyond even ample means of both.

But there are other things going on, too.  We've seen this hobby become established as it is, and never was before, since the emergence of the Internet.  It has changed; there have been shakeouts. Those changes are still occuring, and will work changesin the hobby.  They account for perhaps some slowdown:

We've seen first the emergence and dramatic growth of happy ending massages.  Within the last year, DIY has made such an impact that someone recently suggested it have its own ratings category.   HEs and DIY caters to, and chops off, a chunk of the market that otherwise would go to FS.  At the same time, sugarbabying has taken a foothold, and is creating what is an unseen, but certainly palpable, inroad into the hobbyist's dollar.

So, Hobbyists and Providers:  What's your prediction for what the hobby will look like in another three years?

Here's mine:  Everything will become more fine-grained.  High end will see some narrowing in selection, but overall increase in quality.  DYI and HEs will shake out most of the mediocre or worse  (not entirely) and those markets will produce outstanding providers.  The mid-range of FS will jell a bit more, but will probably see a lot of shorter-term providers.

They say the cure for high prices is.......high prices.

Maybe it is time for rates to drop to bring more into the market?  What does everyone say is "a good rate"? Yes it does depend on the provider, but there is a point that even the great ones cost too much.

...for high prices is high prices.

Maybe some rates need to be lowered to bring more into the market.
What is good rate? I know it depends on the provider, but there should be a rate at which most folks will agree.

The price gets low enough and the LE risk becomes less of a deterrent.

I really cannot predict what the hobby will look like in another three years. The only safe predictions are that it (i.e., men paying for sexual services) will still be in full-force, and that it (i.e., prostitution) will not be legalized.

In any case, if business is truly slow for providers, then I would appreciate them examining their business practices more closely.

The quick reaction for most providers facing a slow spell is to commission a new set of photographs.

The more difficult task would require a provider to critique the experience she offers to each client.

Providers should hold a "responsibility mirror" in front of their efforts in sessions. In short, how can they make a session a better and more rewarding experience for each and everyone of their clients?

I feel that the first step in answering your inquiry requires a determination of whether the six established providers depend heavily on their regular clients or whether they depend upon a steady influx of single-visit clients.

If a provider depends on repeat visits from regular clients, then they should have gathered enough intelligence from their private conversations with the gentlemen to determine why they have lessened or stopped their meetings.

If a provider depends on a steady flow of new, single-visit clients, then one or more of your listed factors could be in-play.

My Inquiry:  Did any of the six established providers mention that they would be making any changes in their business practices in order to offset the slowdown?

what category the ladies fall into.  Are these DIY massage types or BP gals or the 4$/hr GFE kind?

I could see where that would make a difference whether time, money or LE is the issue at hand.

If kiss and tell is a very bad habit, why have you submitted published reviews on this site?

If all of these ladies have demonstrated an ability to effectively market themselves and manage the turnover of clients, why are they even the least bit concerned with a slowdown in business?

If you are not crazy enough to disclose what each of the providers might do next, why are you crazy enough to come on this site attempting to discover why clients are not visiting these very providers?

If the lady consents to disclosure of certain information, then fine. But if she does not, or there is implied confidentiality, then a gentleman doesn't disclose it.  Siimple as that.
