I believe Austin Smith is a legitimate provider with a number of reviews on other sites, based on back channel communications and the info on her website which also says she used to be on TER on plans to be again soon.
The link to the Cityvibe ad with what looks to be a different girl is odd; I asked about that girl recently and was directed to a bunch of Tin Eye hits all over the place so that looked suspicious. She does have one review under this profile: http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=148593
This is very speculative but could it be that someone is advertising not only using fake pics but listing a website that is not their own to try and make it seem more convincing?
Austin Smith is truly a provider, She was fantastic when I saw her back in Nov. We had fun and she is a sweet pretty gal. I think she went through some stressful times back then, and I hope it is behind her. She is well worth seeing. I did a review for her but all of her reviews were eliminated for some reason, possibly at her request. She had reviews under another name also they may be gone too. She is the real deal.
The first backpages link look like her. The ones with the negligee are not. If you look close, that person has a tattoo on her hip. The last time I saw Austin, she did not.
...list her age as 28, clearly not close to 21 & 18 from the above ads. Her escorts.com account shows age 30.
(Her BigDoggie ad lists a third number: 612-321-xxxx, which is AT&T wireless in case that helps.)
So, comparing the review link from Vorlon, and looking at the numbers, as well as her other escort listings on other escort sites... something really stinks about the "younger Austin".
Finally, why would she tout (the "younger Austin" ads make this exclamation) her "excellent TER reviews" when she clearly doesn't like the site? Look at the title of her escort-site TER page: http://austinsmith.escort-site.com/ter-is-lame.phtml (of course, no direct ter review link is there) Just another contradiction...
The age 18-21 stuff just doesn't add up with the other posts she's made. The phone numbers from the review are also unnerving. (is it common for providers to use a landline number?)
Her 28/30 age seems more consistent across the board; if I were to dive in (so to speak), that's the one I'd feel more comfortable following. I hope this helps.
Over the last year or so, I've googled phone numbers and come up with links, not only to providers, but also some other concerning information.
1. Some guy on Cedar Ave. 2. A real estate agent/broker. 3. A small business administration office. 4. A construction business. 5. One other business that I can't remember right now. 6. A craigslist ad for a laptop for sale. 7. Other craigslist ads.
I wouldn't know if the number had been recycled, but the provider listing was current at the time and I don't think I'd want to call those numbers.
There's this whole thread about it. It just seems strange to me that a provider who is at least somewhat known in the community would switch to using fake pics on her ad, particularly when the other ads with the pics of the girl in the negligee use are under the name Kristin. All the other ads by Austin use pics matching the girl on the website. So, I only see one ad run by Austin with a pic that is not hers. That could mean this is simply a screw up of some kind. Time will tell but there is no need to rush to judgement on this.
For sure... Austin has never said that she was 18-21! If you think that she would all of a sudden start to say she was 10 years younger than she is, than your all dumber than most of the crap that I read here on TER. Once you email her and get to know her....she then gives you her personal cell phone number! She doesn't want every Tom, Dick and Harry calling her. If your serious and you check out...she will give it to you. As far as the photo goes..she hasn't seen it on her ad..cuz she hasn't looked at it..but she plans to check it out. Now...get a life and shut your computers....it's time for you to obsess about something more meaningful in your lives!
I doubt she will appreciate these ridiculous leaps of logic. If there is anything remotely suspicious in terms of photos, the most likely interpretation would be that someone is using hers surreptitiously. As for possible similarities of the backround in photos, either cooincidence or possible common acquaintance. Either way, who cares.
The only place this discussion can go from here will get people moderated or worse. Let's not use someone's livelihood as an exercise in amateur detective work - let's save that for rip-offs and people who pose an actual danger.
