I haven't really seen providers in a while since the pandemic and usually stick to regulars I know well in my area on the rare occasion. Traveler for business to the Detroit area and contacted a couple providers that are highly rated. One requested a deposit and I was hesitant but figured maybe thats the norm now or for this area. Sent deposit and then got ghosted. Contacted another provider and was asked for a deposit as well. Really hesitant to proceed and hoping others can provide some insight/thoughts. Thanks!
