Racism sucks...but try and flip it to the positive instead of getting too upset.

I was curious if anyone else had a problem with this? I have noticed that many non-ethnic providers not only have higher rates but also a more rigourous screening process that either includes references or intrusive questions like what city do you live in, age, work, and ethnicity.  I don't have an issue for a provider to put you thru light screening especially when it is a number that have not seen before, but seriously law enforcement, robbers, rapists, scammers, and scum bags come in all colors last I checked. What color I am should not have bearing on whether or I recieve service.  That should only have to do with the availabilty of the provider and the amount of money I am willing to spend.  I have really noticed this to be a problem with Asian escorts.  Anyone else have care to share his 2 cents?

I will see anyone who is clean, respectful and has references or will go through a screening process. I personally have met many people of many nationalities and welcome them all. Sorry you had a bad experience!

racism is so very uncool.  on the other hand, we must support a provider's right to choose whom she sees, and not assume discrimination.  undoubtedly, if you're experiencing this with regularity, it could be more what you say and how you say it that may be offensive...

if it is truely a case of racism, move on!  this mindset is not indicative of most providers, i assure you....

Higher rates can *sometimes* mean a girl is more discerning in her choices.  This may or may not have anything to do with racial profiling.

FYI-girls have the right to service or not service anyone they want...for any reason.  Just because someone has the money to  pay the rate does not mean a girl HAS to see them.  

Any guy that has a girl turn them down before the appointment, therefore saving you the build up to the date as well as cash, should be thankful for ladies that are upfront about this vs. giving poor service for trying to muster through a date they really don't want to be doing.  IMO ladies should state racial preferences for clients on their site though...saves everyone time and hassle.  

Don't take any of it personally...plenty of other ladies to see out there... ;-)

Homogeneous?

I appreciate all of the responses to my intial post.  I recently only started seeing providers at the end of April 2010 so there is much that I do not know about this business and Megan you did open eyes when you mentioned that just because you have the time and the money that a provider does not HAVE to see you.  

Like many others, I did have some stereotypes and misinformation about the types of women that have sex with men for a living. Was I wrong to assume that is was hypocritical for a woman to sell her body but still have standards? Yes I was.  However as an African-American male it is clear to me what these probing questions are fishing for even if the words no black clients are uttered.

Statisically black men make less money then men of other races and statistically black people tend to live in certain geographical regions. So you cannot change my opinion that these questions are not used to flush out this information without coming across as a racist.

And I am not saying every woman that has terminated a phone conversation is indeed a racist. There are other factors like how I may have come across on the phone or a previous bad experience with a black person that may not be a distinguished gentleman such as myself.  

For the record I have seen black, white, asian, and latin providers. It is just the fact that I have had at least 3 Asian women either terminate a phone call or get off the phone and say call back and don't answer after I acknowledge the fact that I am black.

I also have a problem with women that have age requirements. I am 28 so I am not too young but certainly not mature. LOL. But as you stated every woman has a right to control her body and manage her business to her own liking.

At the end of the day I know it's more about the benjamins and less about the sex for you guys.  And yes kudos to the women who are upfront and detail everything in the ad.

jlart123, I assume you are located in the midwest area.  I personally have had issues with some providers that will not see guys of "color".  Based on my experiences it does not come up too often in the midwest, but I know it happens alot in the south.  As for your reference to Asian escorts...the only time I heard it being a problem is when the guy is Asian.  Depending on the location the Asian community is small enough to know each other so the provider may not want to take a chance in seeing a family member or friend of family.

As for providers not seeing "Black" guys...well I've heard a lot of different reasons why providers refuse to see black guys.  And when it 1st happen to me I really got pissed and thought each provider was a "bigot".  I don't want to generalize each lady in calling them a bigot...but what I would recommend is to move on to other lady.  Too many great choices out there to worry about the few who refuse to see you based on your ethnic background.
