I left Detroit years ago, but often visit. I do miss the generous fun times on and around 8 Mile (747's, BT's, Wild Mustang, Penthouse, Players, etc). How are things with COVID? Are these places surviving?

I visit Detroit pretty regularly, and try to get to a strip club once per visit. Here's a quick update.
About 4 years ago, the clubs within Detroit city limits (e.g. the ones on 8 Mile) had to get rid of their curtained VIP rooms. So while some of those places have survived COVID and are struggling along, the lack of opportunity to get extras has really hit these places in terms of the number and attractiveness of dancers, number of customers, etc.
At the same time, the clubs in Dearborn, Inkster, and Romulus like Flight Club, Landing Strip, BT's, Silver Criket, Henry VIII, and Bogart's still have extras and have been back operating pretty normally since around the fall of 2020. I've listed them roughly in order, starting from most expensive/most attractive girls at Flight Club.

I do remember a crazy Russian dancer at the Flight Club about 10 years ago - I imagine she is long gone.

I generally agree, but would put Landing Strip slightly above Fight Club -- mostly because there are a few girls who are outstanding. Bogart's is to be avoided!
The Landing Strip has resurged. Mid 2000's it was quite the place. I stopped going following a remodel. I think it was closed for while as well. I will put LS on my list for a Spring return to Michigan.
Thanks for the recommendations - I was in town last week and visited the Landing Strip and Flight Club. Landing Strip was not bad, but easily eclipsed by Flight Club. It has been at least 10 years since I was at either. LS was updated and featured quite a few dancers; however the talent and overall ambiance did not come close to FC. Will return to FC on my next visit without a doubt!
