I can't get the site you mention to come up, but I get to AB whenever I am in SD. So I may visit twice in a week or twice in six weeks. As far as how current are the pictures, the turnover in that industry, whether it's Chicago, AB, Hong Kong, Miami, is so great that from month to month there are often so many new faces that it's hard to remember who you have seen and and who is new. So unless the pictures are of some of the veterans, the girl in the photo may be long gone. I just spent about five minutes screwing around trying to find a site that had the posted phrase in it and after finding nothing with the phrase as typed and searching around for adelitas tijuana...I went in a few sites of the many that came up...and got three separate warnings from firewall protection that there was a serious intrusion on my computer. This is sincere. Don't do what I just did - I think my firewall caught and deleted the shit that got on my computer, but it took a number of efforts to get the shit off my screen and I guess I can't be certain everything's ok until I check the whole system now.
It ain't worth helping out someone you don't know to risk this shit. If someone has a serious question like that they can post the fucking link so we don't get screwed just trying to help out.
I was down in TJ last night and had a good time at Adelitas. There is an internet cafe a block away,so I strolled over to go post my report. After logging in and checking my e-mail I tried to find websites for the Adelitas Bar to give better directions with pictures for my post. Needless to say the computer slowed down immensely during that process, and the mouse jumped some.
Having had some experience countering hacks, I downloaded some firewall, anti-virus and other utilities to run on the computer. I told the guy that I would trade him my time fixing the computer for free time on the Internet. He didn't agree until I showed him a list of the viruses his computer had.
Anyways, the point is that after cleaning it all up and logging back into the web the stuff I downloaded went CRAZY after hitting the Adelitas website. Three seperate servers were identified by the firewall as attempting to hack my info.
I had the cafe person watch over my shoulder and he looked pale. I guess he must know someone who does the hacking.
I have had several discussions with the owner(s) of Adelitas and they have nothing to do with this particular site.
If you are a fan of Adelitas, please discourage any thread mentioning this particular site....because the guy who owns it is just trying to use their good name for his personal profit.
The only problem with legal action in Mexico is that it is very slow when it comes to international infractions. But you can thank the asshole from this site for the changes that Adelitas will undergo in the near future.
Remember, that the increased cost of doing business will be paid for by us!!! Just think about that the next time prices go up again.
