I worked in San Diego in the first half of
2001 and visited la zona frequently, mostly adelita's, chicago club and several of the other nearby places. Closest thing to heaven on earth.

and I was wondering of the cost of bar chicas
is still the same. Back then going to the hotel
with a nice chica for a half hour was $40 - $70
depending on the girl, plus $5 or $10 for the
room.

Is it about the same or is it more now?

I gather that crossing the border is more of a hassle now. I always parked on the US side and took a taxi to la zona.

$60 and $11 or $12 for the room, depending on Adelitas or Chicago.  Hong Kong in the alley has some nice ladies, $100 for an hour.

$40.00 is a thing of the past.  $60.00 is the going rate these days.

$60 may be the going rate at night, but $40 or $50 is easily negotiable during the day.

Yes, chicas will deal during slow hours.  I think you can get a $50 session without too much effort.  

If you regularly get $40 sessions from a decent chica then you're a better negociator than I.  I still think $40 sessions are a thing of the past.

The last few years it's been 60.  I've had some daytime 40s but usually when they're just bored.

11 for the room.  By the way, the Adelitas hotel has really remodeled, much cleaner and nicer.

Last week I was with a real hottie.  She said 60 and I counted out 80 before the session and gave it to her.  She was VERY enthusiastic, I don't know if the advance tip helped.  Just wanted to throw that out there.

Still a bargain!!

Not meaning to drag you boys back to this side, I know TJ can be lots of fun, but $60+$11 a 1/2 hr plus all the border hassel - there's lots of girls in San Diego who will do an hour for $140.

And the one gent who paid $100 (for a 1/2?) gosh for $200 I'll see you for TWO hours - if you want to  play on my side of the line...  

So why bother with the rest of the mess?
