TJ hotel

I have to travel to TJ for work every couple of months.  I have stayed at Camino and Lucerna but have had trouble getting girls in the hotel and up to my room late in the evening.  I need to find a nice Hotel that I can stay at and not get hassled.  Also it has to have a bar.  Plus sometimes I'm by myself and get a little nervous being down on Revolution, or in Red light district alone.  Thanks for your suggestions.

PS.....I love TJ...nowhere like it on earth.

Lucerna is really bad for chicas...Surprised you had problems at the Camino de Real...Maybe try Pueblo Amigo as they seem to be chica friendly.

For a bar downstairs, try Hotel Nelson, right at the big archway.  The restaurant there (Cafe Nelson) also has a nice breakfast.

Chica friendly places - try the Hotel Hacienda de Santiago, which is one block north of the archway.  It's a nice, clean hotel with good facilities in some rooms (like kitchenettes).  Be a bit careful in that area though, as there are drug dealers around.

Also, on the street one block east of Revolucion, there's Villa de Zaragosa.  Reportedly very chica friendly, and in a comfortable area.

Both of these are considerably cheaper than the Pueblo Amigo, which is going to run you around $100 a night.

I suppose the answer to this question depend on how much weight should be give to the request for a "nice hotel."

Hotel del Hacienda Santiago and Villa Zaragosa are the best in (respectively) the Zona Norte and Zona Central (downtown).  They (and the Nelson) are decent places, but not first rate hotels--nowhere near the Lucerna or Camino Real. Also, only the Nelson has a bar, so I don't think they're the answer to the request.

The Pueblo Amigo is a favorite for mongers wanting a first rate hotel.  It's very chica friendly and I think comes povides all that was requested.  (Being next to a strip club and MP--Bolero and Luxor--are nice bonuses.)

You can get a better rate at the Pueblo Amigo (like many other top TJ hotels) by asking for a AAA discount.  Or by looking for promotional discounts.  The Pueblo Amigo also gives a gamblers discount.

The Lucerna is definately not chica friendly.  If you're going to use it (I like it) then either register for two or get a room in the Annex and bring the chica to your room through the parking lot.

I haven't tried the Tijuana Grand Hotel.  However, I suspect it would be easy to get a chica into your room using the elevators in the parking garage.  (I've never tried taking a chica in "puta clothes" there so I don't know if it's chica friendly or not.)

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I kinda like the sound of Pueblo Amigo, if its clean, Chica friendly, with a couple of strip clubs near buy. I like the sound of that.  Also how about parking, and can anyone give me an address, and some directions.

Found this via google.

It's actually very close to the border and you could walk if you wanted.  Although, I've heard at night it might not be the best idea.  I used to walk it during the daytime when I would have lunch at Senior Frogs.

is my fav there.

The MP allows their girls to come to your room - i've never done that, but i've been told about it there.

There is a really good Spanish restaurant right in that walk around area where they have singers on weekend nights.

There is a club next door to that where i have seen amazingly hot civie chicks dancing away.

You can watch gringo sports on the tv at the gambling bar and the sunday brunch is very good i think.

Very easy to find from when you enter by car - but you can't miss the turn that comes up real fast or you'll be driving around awhile.  Along those lines, as easy as it is for me to find it from the border, i have NEVER easily found it while driving from the zona.  Even cabbies I've used have messed it up.  There is some little tricky turn in there that i never seem to be able to remember.

Thanks for the information.  I'm thinking I'll give Pueblo Amigo a try on my next trip.  Actually I think I have been to one of the strip clubs thats close to the hotel.  I remember a somewhat more expensive and classy joint than the clubs you run into down on Revolution or in the Zona.  Seems like they had beautiful girls but seemed kinda pricy for Mexico.

Yes, but not exactly as you are saying.  I was told that you can pay Luxor and have the girl come up to your room at PA for an hour or whatever you pay for, instead of back to their tables or sauna.  [btw, I have never been able to find a girl there who actually knows how to get that sauna started without many problems!]
Anyway, I have never done it - but I am certain I was told I could either by one of the girls or the woman at the front when you come in.  This was a while ago, but it seems logical to me.  Why wouldn't they allow it?  It's not much further of a walk than where they take you and then they don't need to clean up after.  I doubt they'd let you take her all night, but i suppose if you paid enough and the girl were willing anything is possible.

My last visit there I paid the hour rate [I forget exactly, I think it's $80] and then the girl asked for $140 tip - which I was pretty astonished by cuz that was a lot more than I ever paid there.  I told her I just wanted a bj.  She pointed to her pussy and said I'd like it a lot.  I said I was sure I would too, but that was too much.  She said pay me $100 and give me a tip if you like it.  I said ok.  Honestly, she wasn't all that great - i've had much better there than her [don't remember her name].  This was probably the first time i'd ever done this in a situation like that - but i didn't tip her any more than the $100 given earlier...i just dressed and got the hell out as she looked a little offended.  I'm glad I hadn;t taken her up to my room next door!

I haven't been down in quite some time, but always stay at the PA. I have seen girls go from the hotel to the MP next door. No fuss, no muss. Don't know if they charge a premium on the usual price. I never used the MP.
