I am looking to go to TJ for the first time, but based on security and whatnot, am hoping to go with someone since it seems going alone is not the best idea, particularly if you'll be wide-eyed looking around like me.

If no one volunteers right away, maybe you should consider going to the party at La Tropa. I've missed all the previous ones, but reports are always positive... lots of friendly guys having a good time with the ladies who come out from various bars to show and share their stuff. Just cross the border (easy and safe), take a cab to La Tropa Bar ($5), go inside, meet some of the guys, find a girl and have a good time.

but please DON'T get suckered into a "Juan's Tijuana" tour!

you should go with someone who's been to TJ, not another guy like yourself. Both of you want to get lost?

If you live in SD and want to go to TJ frequently, join one of the TJ boards. There is a wealth of information on there.

I'm glad you think so much of our tours. Lol  Actually we probably do the best tours of anyone in the zona.  Our website is our sites main emphasis and I don't do that many tours nor do I want to be doing tours all the time.  If anyone is truly interested they can look at a free access tour link on our website or the attached link here.

There are also plenty of other people doing tours on a regular basis.  Every time I go to TJ I see guys doing tours.  There are also more websites springing up doing tours or giving TJ info.  There will also be more new TJ sites coming as the Net gets bigger and bigger.

So thanks Caribe/whoremonger or whoever you normally post as on other sites for your post.  I just knew it was a matter of time before you started flaming again or baiting me.  Publicity is still publicity, even negative publicty.  I want to thank you.

Oh, he will deny it for sure, but just think about it is all I am suggesting.  It brings all kinds of new possibilities to mind.

You might find this helpful.

I suggest scoping the area out in the daytime first. Wear sunglasses and gather what the place looks like. That way, you will be familiar with the area when you go back an night and you won't look like a total newbie.

After doing a lot of research on TJ related websites I made my first TJ trip back in july,and though like you I was apprehensive I encounterd no problems at all and had a great time.Try posting your request on tjamigos.com.I'll bet a freindly monger there would be happy to meet up with you and show you around.As for me my trips are always spur of the moment so its difficult to plan anything ahead of time.Good luck!

Another idea... start by seeing one of the incall girls during the day. They will meet you at the border, take you to the incall, have your fun and hook you with a taxi back to the border. That's how I started in TJ (with Tania). Got my legs pretty fast and ventured out to the bars and MPs. I always go solo, always have a good time and have never had a problem. The only problem I have is living so far from the border so trips are too infrequent!
