I have been to TJ several times, but all of them were for visits with the "Internet Senoritas".  Have also started driving down there.  (Mexican insurance coverage, at minimum, for $80 for whole year from AAA; complete map of TJ is $9 at Map Centre on Sports Arena [but it is moving in a few weeks to Cl Mesa Blvd]; pm me if you want more details.)
   I am considering exploring Zona Norte.  I have reviewed all of the posts here back to Day One.  (Particular thanks to Burt for his extensive posts.)  Have also reviewed the well-known other TJ sites.
   I am a member of the AARP generation and therefore not interested in attempting an "individual medley" with two or more ladies.  My normal preference is for at least two hours.  I like to start by giving the lady a massage with the hope it makes her feel comfortable.  I am working on obtaining a minimal level of Spanish, but that will be a few months in the future.  Also, I would be going to TJ, at least in the beginning, during daylight hours.
   Would appreciate your first-hand experience (current within the past six months?) on the following:
   1) A hotel within safe walking distance of ZN that is clean, quiet, has showers, and I can rent for at least two hours with no "knocking on the door"?  Alternatively, if I use one of the locations that is away from ZN, where is a safe place to park the car in the ZN area while I am seeking companionship?
   2) A lady of 30+ years old who speaks conversational English.  At my age (and waist size), I am more concerned about a lady's performance than her looks.
   3) From what I have read here and elsewhere, I assume that Adelitas Bar is most likely to give me the type of experience I prefer?  Am I correct?
   4) Would any of you middle-aged and up fellows be going there this week or next during daytime and be willing to guide me through the basics?

Some people may disagree, but I find the parking next to Chicago club to be very safe.  The hotel upstairs from Chicago does not knock on your door like the one above Adelitas.  The girls at Adelitas are far better looking, but many of the girls in Adelitas are just looking for a quick turn.  There are very few girls in Chicago club during the day.  It appears to be dead, but if you go in and strike up a conversation you may get what you are looking for.

Don't take car across the border.  Driving in Mexico is maddening.  Find a nice hotel in TJ or SD and take cabs to
la zona.  Cab rides are cheap.  $5 from the border, if you stay in SD.  Every cabbie knows where Adelita's is, will drop you off right in front.  And its easy to get a cab ride back.

WymenLover... I was going to PM you this lengthy message but am not currently a VIP member. If you have read all the posts on this board, especially Burt's "TJ Primer", I'm not sure if you will get much additional info here... but let me toss out a few things.

I am also of your generation and appreciate the fact that you like longer and, I assume, more "intimate" or "romantic" sessions (versus a quickie in the room for 20 minutes). You can find this from a girl in a zona bar but IMO it probably requires you culture a relationship with her. That means you must make somewhat frequent visits, so she remembers you, and it will help if you have some game (but of course cash trumps everything else in the zona).

If you want two hours, it will probably cost you approximately as much as four half-hour sessions ($50-60 each plus room charges) unless you set it up for a time when she wouldn't otherwise be busy making good money with short timers. (And if you want her to leave her turf with you, that's another issue altogether.)

If you want ladies 30+, they are probably in the minority in most of the well known clubs (Candi at AB comes to mind). Some vets have recommended looking to the Mexico Lindo bar for the kind of lady you might want... more mature and probably more appreciative of the things you like. These ladies are usually part-timers looking for extra cash and not full-time pros. However, they are probably not there during daylight hours which is when you said you will initially visit.

Generally speaking, for a sure-thing "GFE" it is hard to beat the internet girls (unless you establish yourself well with one or more bar girls -- as above) and they are generally in your preferred age group. I don't know if you are into gringas but you may know SD Lara now works in TJ and has good reviews on TER. If you are cool with younger chicas, you might check out some of the MPs for a slower paced session which is fairly typical there (and atypical at the bars for the overwhelming majority of guys - watch the door at Adelita's sometime and see how fast the turnaround time is for most girls). I like the MPs with Jacuzzi and it is great to soak and fondle for a while, then get and/or give a massage before taking it to the next level.  

There are plenty of hotels but you will have to check them out to see which ones meet your level of comfort and those may or may not be in close proximity to the zona. You should check out the Zaragosa which is walkable though not a "short time" hotel per se but you can take girls there. I am not familiar with others that are close but others here can advise you on that. If you find a girl that will leave the bar with you, you could take her to La Mansion (hotel) which is either short term or longer. It is reputedly one of the nicest hotels in TJ and some rooms have Jacuzzi.  

Parking is reportedly safe at the Zaragosa and there are other places people use, including the parking at the Pueblo Amigo Hotel (which is nice but not walking distance to the zone, for me, anyway). You can park at the 8th St./Revolucion Sanborn's Restaurant lot and it should be quite safe and is walkable to the zone. I'm not sure about possible restrictions on time there.

I hope this helps a little bit. Hopefully one of the vets will be available to show you around. That would help get you up to speed and find what you want, probably much faster than if you go it on your own.

P.S. If you use taxis, use taxi libres when possible. Unlike the yellow cabs, they have meters and are cheaper.
