Well said Misty!  Many thanks Burt... your advise was very helpful & right on. A Sunday afternoon & evening in TJ with Misty sure beat this -30 wind chill in the Midwest all to hell!  Still rotflmao about the cabbie trying to talk us out of going to the bars...little did the cabbie know someone was sans panties! lol

A friend and I went to TJ after reading your guide.  

Adelita's was clean and everyone treated us well.  I was a bit nervous because I'm female, but it seemed a few other ladies were there with dates.

Went to Mariscos don pepe.  Great food and descent prices.  We found out after that they have 2 other restaurants in the US.  

The cabbies took advantage.  No meters in site LOL.  They saw us coming!
