About 12 years ago, I was just like you, wondering about TJ.
But 12 years ago and before, TJ WAS a dangerous place.
I've heard of dozens of guys that got mugged, several here on the board have been mugged too.
But with the Policia substation in the Zone, it's been a lot better.

You join a TJ pay site, do your home work, it will pay off HUGE!

1. Keep your eyes under control.

a. The wide eyed guys show that it's their first time there target you for scams and girl think you are easy pickings.
b. You might miss a treasure in the rough. Some true beauties at great prices who give great performances.

2. Show no fear and just relax. you are hear to enjoy yourself, not stress out about what people might be thinking... when they are hiding in the doorways in teh alley, ready to take everything you have and you may have as they plan to leave you somewhere where your body may or may not be found as they take the video they made of you and the donkey to the international markets.

3. DO NOT STRESS OUT. Fights in TJ are nasty, and fights with locals not worth it, because TJ cops let a LOT slide, except fights. You will most likely come out with more bruises and wounds if the cops catch you fighting than the actual fight.

4. Mind your money. Things may be cheap, but they go fast.

5. Go to the decent places. Adelitas, Chicago, Hong Kong. I was shocked at how good plastic surgery has come these days my old ass walked by a strip club on revolucion and I was propoitioned. The body looked decent, but damn that was was masculine.
Do not have any Crying Game moments unless that's what you are looking for.

6. Remember that this is a more conservative country, so the girls may not do wilder things than standard "in the cama" playing around. Negotiate it beforehand, or the girls will walk out of your room with your money.

7. Politeness goes a long way. the girls do not HAVE to take you if you choose them, and I have seen so many of the kids get discarded for action because they were jerks. Be a gentleman at first, legend in bed later.

8. Breathe mints. Beer and tacos and mexican food do not make for any stimulating smellsin bed, so watch your mouth. Feel free to offer it to the girls too, if they are a little smelly.

9. If you do not trust the local condoms, bring your own. The local condoms tend to be of lesser quality.
