I've been to La Mansion, and understand there are two other "love" hotels in TJ:  El Parador and Los Pinos.  Does anybody know anything about either of these places  Espeically where they are located.  Thanks.

I'll trade ya.  I haven't ever tried La Mansion but I have been to the other two quite a bit.

These are discrete love MOTELS (even though Parador says it is a hotel) and both of them include automatic garage doors so that you can go there without being seen.

Finding them was a challenge the first (and second time...lol).

Hotel El Parador is a little hairy as it is on a highway going uphill around a corner, so I don't recommend driving to it in your own car.  It is about 10 minutes from ZN.

Both have jacuzzi suites for a little extra as well as room service.

Los Pinos was nearly impossible to find on my own, so the second time I tried to find it, I looked for a taxi driver who knew where it was.  It is up on top of the hillside (about 15 minutes from ZN).  Just write down the name of the Motel and show it to the driver before you get in the cab.  

It is like a miniature golf course with respect to the roadway within it, and the garages are tiny so hopefully you don't have a stationwagon....lol.  

My suite had a round bed and a round jacuzzi in it.  Los Pinos is a bit smaller than El Parador, but also more quaint, INMO.

Thanks for your very detailed infomration about El Parador and Los Pinos.  It helps.

Wish I could be as percise about La Mansion.  It is in the Zona Rio off the Via Rapida near (if I remember correctly) Fiesta Inn.  I usually use cabs in TJ, which causes of bit of problem when I need to give driving directions or an exact address.

La Mansion rates (normally) are $35.00 for a short stay and $65.00 for all night.  Rates seem to varry (expecially the time limit) spending on how busy they get.

It is very new and nice.  Decent room service, although not the largest of menus.  In concept it appears to be like El Parado, where the room is over a small garage.  Girls I've taken there who haven't previously seen the place are impressed.
