Sunday TJ Trip

Hello to all here on the TJ board.  I have read many of the threads on tripping down to TJ from SD and wanted to get a few questions answered.
I am only able to get to TJ on a Sunday afternoon in a couple of weeks and wanted to know the status of crossing the border.  I will be meeting the agency people at McDs.  So should I trolley down from SD or drive my rental and park?  Also I will be there about 1pm-5pm.  How long is the estimate to get back into the US on a Sunday afternoon at 5PM?
Sorry for all of the questions but I wanted to be as informed as possible.
If you ever get to Atlanta let me know and I will provide any information I can.

The trolley will save you money and cost you time.  That is pretty much up to your personal preference.

Yesterday at 4pm crossing by foot took me 7 minutes...Sundays can sometimes be more than an hour, so I don't know how to answer or how to predict the line.

Concur with the trolley.  It'll save money on gas and parking, but you are stuck with the trolley's schedule.  Another advantage, though, is that you can read a book or magazine while you're riding, and don't have to pay attention to the road.

As for the crossing, my last trip down was on Memorial day, and it was about 90 minutes in line.  Sunday afternoons tend to be pretty bad.
