I was really looking forward to an adventure there in late March for my birthday, but nearly every post by Kadjevic, who seems to be the maven on this locale, is discouraging.

I don't speak Spanish so visiting the various bars doesn't sound like a good idea and the agencies all have inflated "gringo prices" with ugly ladies.

I'm not trying to pick on you, Kadjevic, in fact, I appreciate your candor. I also respect your decision to not post #'s and email addys of women you think are worthwhile, but give a nice guy some guidance here, will ya?

I had the same problem (3 months ago) as you do right now.  1)  I was looking for my own first-time GFE.  2) My personal first time in Tijuana, ever!  3) I'm not crazy about the hectic "Wham-Bam, Thank you, Ma'am" environment in Tijuana bars. 4)  My own Spanish abilities are limited to beers/drinks, some foods, greetings, etc.  

I also will not pick Kadjevic, except to simply state that; if I had listened to him literally and many other posts by other BMs;  I would never have gone to Tijuana in the first place. I live in San Diego, CA. I'm sure that he and other members have some good points, and some very valid bad points.  However, at times; it is hard to sort out what is good and what is bad, and their own personal perceived views.  I prefer my own views and my own experiences, as to hearsay evidence in a forum.  

I personally would recommend a PM to “bonitachika” of this board.  For my first Mexican experience; I used him, and sent him a personal/business related PM, and listened to his recommendations.   He was dead on target.  I received my own requested GFE and several times more; from his personal recommendations to me.   I have never looked back since, and will go to this agency every single time.  IMHO, some of the other agencies can either be outright “bait and switch,” and/or slipshod/erratic as to the end-promised-goods and their promised services.  I'm sure that their hearts/minds are in the right place, but their business attitude seems to suck at times.   I’m simply trying to be fair to all parties/escort agencies, which might be on this forum.  The street walkers I avoid, and have no information.  Nothing wrong with them; they just are not my preference.          

There are a couple of bad things mentioned about Mexico Lindo Bar on TER.  The issues may, or may not have happened; and I really don’t know.   I have never, personally had this problem YET from his agency employees.  This doesn't mean that it can't happen.  I'm just trying to be fair in my statements to all escort agencies, and speak equally of all of them.  

I admit that “bonitachika’s” agency and escorts; are a bit expensive.  However!  1)  I prefer the 8-hour specials to slow the pace down, and more “bang for the buck!”  2)  I have had only one or two bumps in the road with a particular woman/escort (generally due to a miscommunications/translation issue), and very easily overcome.  3)  The actual date/experience is akin to shooting “fish in a barrel,” with no undue surprises.  4)  As to the agency; I have not had one single problem, and “bonitachika” freely offers advice to newbies like the both of us, if you just simply ask.  This being said; I’m sure that there is the occasional “rotten apple in the barrel,” which I haven’t found yet, and “bonitachika” quickly tries to weed them out.  “Bonitachika” quickly educated me, and now I’m a Tijuana semi-veteran, still learning, and ask advice when needed.  He has always responded, and clarified issues immediately.  

With five 5 trips to TJ under my belt; I have stopped worrying about disasters, predicted by other TER members.  Make your own rules and judgments.   "Come on into the pool.  The water is great!"

I don't think Kadjevic is your best source of information regarding mongering in Tijuana.  He's quit the Tijuana basher and in a recent post (below) he admits he hasn't recently used any of the escorts agencies.  (There's nothing wrong with using your own "black book"; I have mine and use it too.  However, if you aren't seeing any of the agency girls you're not in a position to offer advice about them.)

If you've followed his post you'll notice he's admitted that he doesn't go to the Zona Norte.  He also advises using lemos as the thinks TJ taxis are too dirty.

I'm curious why some board members say the agencies have inflated prices.  You'll  get a full one hour session from a TJ agency for less than you'd pay north of the border.  And in TJ, unlike So-Cal, it will be a GFE session that lasts a full hour.

Tijuana is a great place to monger!

How true. Tijuana has several good agencies.  Mexico Lindo Bar is, of course, is a very good recommendation as it's considered by most "vets" to be second to none in customer service.

It depends what you're in Tijuana for.  If you have to work there or you're traveling there for business, then you can get some decent choices as far as providers go.  However, if you live in Southern California (which has some of THE best providers in the United States), then why go to Tijuana?  I just don't understand it.  Most of the women are extremely out of shape, very boring to speak with (that's when you speak Spanish.  can't imagine if you don't) and they live in filth most of the time if you've seen their homes.

Burt is correct that I don't go to Zona Norte and I don't use the tourist agencies, but that doesn't mean I don't know what the women look like and act like in both places.  There's just no reason I can think of to specifically go to Tijuana just for sex if you live in Southern California, which is the hot women/good provider capital of the US.  People talk about cheaper prices, but figure in lodging, travel costs, time, and low quality women in with your savings.  Just like people compare the price of housing.  They like to compare a huge house in Palos Verdes with a shack in a shithole and Tijuana and say "See, it's cheaper."  They do the same with women.  "Oh, this escort in Irvine wants $400 an hour and this one in Tijuana is only $150."  What they don't tell you is the one in Irvine is hot as a pistol, smart as a whip, and great to talk to while the one in Tijuana is out of shape, never finished elementary school, and has a crystal meth habit.

Compare apples to apples.
