After reading that our Governor has closed down all non essential businesses, I made my rounds to see if this was being respected.

Zona Norte is up and running with street girls and all the bars open.

Checked with the Manager of Aloha, the site of the party, and he said we have the green light.

If anything changes I will post here and update our website.

I'll second that.  Furthermore, as of 5-1-09 there hasn't been a single case of swine flu in all of Baja California.

Our May 3rd, fiesta was a blast for those that attended.  We had 21 Team Juanita chicas in attendance and we knocked out 300 beers. :)

Our $5 per ticket, 3 for $10 raffle produced $360, which was intended to go 50% to the winner and 50% to Rossi our waitress for these parties. For those that do not know, Rossi recently had her home robbed off furniture and all appliances.  The winner of the raffle gave his winnings to Rossi who walked out with $360 and tips, so she was shocked to say the least.

Through friends we have been able to refunish her home except for the stove, which this money will more than cover.

Aside from that it was great to see everyone, and I expect the next one to be in August.
