Just a reminder that this weekend is the Tijuana Tequila Expo 2007.  Expect a moderate increase in traffic, and note that Ave. Revolucion will be closed between 7th and 8th streets.  The Expo starts tomorrow (October 10) and will be going through Sunday (October 14).

If you at all like tequila, this is a great event; for 50 pesos (about $4.50) you can sample as many as you like of over 300 great tequilas, and then buy some to take home.  (Remember, legally only one liter without paying duty.)  They'll also have plenty of food, music, and dancing.

If so, just wondering how it was.  I know, 4.50 for all the tequila you can sample can't be too bad!

I was there for about 4-5 hours on Saturday, and maybe an hour on Sunday.  I hear there was better eye candy at the booths on Friday, so I missed it.  I had a lot of fun with a couple of friends, sampling tequilas and talking about the flavors.  (I even kept a notebook so I could go back and know what I wanted to buy on Sunday.)

Oh, and they even interviewed me for a local TV show, asking how I found out about the event, how I liked it, how many tequilas I'd sampled... I wonder if anyone I know down there saw it and recognized me! :)

I wondered how it went.  thought about going and ended up not going.
Maybe next year!

The Tijuana International Beer Festival is in two weeks!  They claim they'll have about 20 breweries from the US, Mexico, and other countries.  $5 admission, and it's on Revolucion in front of the Jai Alai. (Where the Tequila Expo was as well.)

First a tequila fest and then a beer one.  I say, it's time for an escort fest! LOL

We had one Zona Norte girl who was *supposed* to go to the tequila fest with us on Saturday, but you know how reliable those girls are...

At least she apologized when we saw her later that night... (at least I think that's what my dick down her throat meant!) :D

How you found out about the event?

Did you say, I was checking out this site for TJ hookers on the internet and someone mentioned the fest.  :)

Actually, I've known about it for a while now.  This was my fourth year attending.  I can't even remember where I first heard of it, but it was probably from the banners that they hang off the lightposts during the months leading up to the Expo.
