A dentist that I highly recommend is:
Dr. Raul Mendiola R. His office is in Plaza Fiesta across the street from the Plaza Rio shopping center and kitty corner from the Cultural Center. (He's upstairs in a blue building. Big name on the wall.) He is an Oral Surgeon, but also does general dentistry. (Trained at Univ. of GDL--which is equivalent to most US medical schools, or so I've been told by a US physician.) He speaks excellent English.

Somebody I highly recommend for root canals:
This woman specializes in root canals. She speaks a little English. She seems to have very up to date equipment and takes continuing education classes in the US. I am impressed with her. She is good and very gentle.

Javier Mina is across the street on the north side of Cultural Center. The Ixpalia building is between Paseo de los Heroes and the Via Rapida, close the (north) parking lot for the Cultural Center.
