Border Wait times?

How's the border wait these days when leaving TJ to get back to the USA at San Yisdro.  I haven't been through there in like a year, and last time the wait on the weekend was over 3 hours at the pedestrian side.

Should I go this weekend, or am I better off waiting to go during the week?

Thanks

Three Hours!?  Wow, I've never seen it that bad.  I usually go during the week in the afternoons -- Monday is my favorite afternoon -- and the wait is often less than 15 minutes.  Come back across around 4 to 5 p.m.  Friday seems to be the worst.  But the longest I've waited is 'bout an hour.

Sundays and Fridays are the worst. On Fridays the lines are full of Mexicans spending the weekend in the US.  On Sundays the lines are filled with people who spent the weekend in Tijuana (often visiting relatives).

Weekdays are better than weekends.  Usually after 6:30 to 7:00 pm the pedestiran wait is under 15 minutes.  (Except on Sundays.)

Thanks, great info.  I really appreciate it.

Two weeks ago on Sunday evening at about 8 it took 45 minutes to cross the border, not to bad.
