Here is information for the one immediately off the last I-5 exit.  It has better lighting than the other one, which is about 1/2 block closer to the border.

However, the closer one gives you a full 24 hours.  Border Station gives you until 10am when an additional daily fee kicks in.  One dollar off coupons are available at many San Diego motel information racks.

Parking your car at the border. If you insist on driving to the border, there are large commercial parking lots where you can park for about $8. for 24 hours. You can even catch a Mexicoach bus right in the parking lot for a small fee and they will whisk you across the border in no time and deposit you on Revolución between 6th and 7th streets. If you are familiar with the area, you can hop off before arriving to Revolución. Sánchez Taboada and Marquez de Leo makes a good jumping off point to be only one block from the Mercado and Zona Rio Shopping Center. Be aware the bus stops running at 9 p.m.; so you're on your own to get back if you have a late dinner.

NOTE: the statement above about getting 24 hours for the daily fee is probably incorrect, as I noted above.

Does anyone know about how much is for parking for overnight??

Seems like last time I was there it was in the 7 to 8 dollar range.  Thats been about a year ago.

It depends on when and which lot. $9.00 is a good estimate.

During holidays the rates go up.  Almost in some lots (like UTEP)you get a true 24 hours, in others (like Border Station) you get until 10:00 am the next day.

Gateway lot charges $4.00 some days and $9.00 on other days.  However, their fee is only good for 8 hours.

The UTEP parking lot (a.k.a the Duty Free to) is usually a buck more that Border Station, but worth if unless you're coming back early in the morning.

Both UTEP and Border Station are located on Camino de la Plaza (the last exit before entering Mexico) just west of I-5.

Border Station is the MexCoach bus terminus. UTEP is the closest to the border.
