The owner of Viva Mex Spa, which is located at 942 Avenida Revolucion (between 3rd and 4th streets)in Tijuana, posted this on another board. Since I think people on this board might benefit from these services I’m posting an edited version of his announcement here.
For those unfamiliar with Via Mex, it offers first rate 100% legit massages by a well trained staff. (I’m a long-time, very satisfied customer.) Via Mex is one of the business on Revelucion owned by an American that seems to be thriving. I’ve met the owner, he seems like a very nice (and honest) person. I wish him success.

THE DOCTOR IS IN!
(And so is the lab technician and pharmacist).
Finalized the deal today to have a full-time doctor on staff at VivaMex Spa. Because it just makes sense, we are also offering pharmaceuticals delivered to the spa based on your needs/prescriptions. Details, services, fees to be posted on our Web site www.vivamexspa.com no later than Monday. I will post the exact link here.
The range of services is surprisingly comprehensive. Fees will be competitive and we have an arrangement with the lab to eliminate the need for our patients to chase around to various locations to give samples or get results. Samples will be taken at our facility and results delivered back anonymously ASAP. (This is not always the case in Mexico).
Services will include anonymous STD and HIV testing. Results are returned to us in a sealed envelope. Even the doctor will not have access unless you want to discuss them with him and/or receive treatment.
Prescriptions for ED medications and other things are available. Prescribed medications will be waiting for you in a sealed bag at VivaMex within thirty minutes. (Good time for a spa visit don’t you think?)
Appointments, payments and spa reservations can all be handled through our receptionists via telephone or online. Credit cards accepted – all services, spa, medical and pharmaceutical will be billed as “Spa Holdings Company” as a single transaction.
I’m really excited about this because it’s so easy – all in one stop with a single, competitively-priced payment.
Believe it or not, we will be open for medical next week.

I started buying prescription medications in Mexico several years ago when I lost my health insurance. (Things like BP and diabetic meds. I also buy Viagra there.) I always declare my medication when returning to the US. I’ve never had a problem with US customs. (I also don’t buy things with a “street value.”)
My experience is Via Mex is a first class organization. The owner is a successful businessman on both sides of the border. IMHO anything he’s associated with will have quality stamped all over it.
Do you happen to know how good the messages are? I am thinking about bringing my gf there with me for a legit message and am only interested if the quality is high and the experience not going to be in any way embarassing for her. Thanks.
The quality is high. Great value too.
Strange you should post about bringing your gf. The owner and his gf decided one day to get a couple's massage. (Straight massage where there is a his and hers table in the same room.) They had a disappointing experience. So they decided to open a legit massage parlor--and now there's Via Mex in downtown Tijuana.
I've been there several times. And my experiences have always been good.
Via Mex is like Azteca, only better. Both places only offer legit massages.
Thanks for this info, Burt. I never heard of this place before. I presume from what you write, the massage people are the real deal. If so, prices look very inviting!

Say I want a 60 minute deep tissue massage for $45. Is a tip expected or is it like the tip for a taxi where I've read on this board is not expected nor required? If it is expected what would a reasonable tip be for my one hour massage?
Do you have a recommendation of which Masseuse to ask for?
I usually don't get a deep tissue massage, so I haven't had one from enough of their girls to tell you who is best for that.
What I'd do is be very honest with the recptionist. They see eager to match their girls specialties with their clients requests. (Assuming, of course, the client doesn't want "extras.")
I think tips are commonplace. I usually tip $5.00 or $10.00. My suggestion is that you tip what you think is appropriate based on the quality of the massage.
When you get there you'll find they have lots of options. (The "menu" is probably on the web site.) Various massage styles, longer time periods, two girls, etc.
I went there over the weekend and paid $35 for a 45 minute deep tissue massage. That's a really good deal in my opinion. I've paid $80 for the same service in San Diego. The masseuse was Alejandra and she did an excellent job so I gave her a $6 tip. She seemed OK with that. After the massage I took a shower in their nice shower room and then off I went to the Zona.
It looks like I'll be visiting Viva Mex and Azteca more than the AMPs in the States now. Thank you Burt for the information.
Many times during my trips to TJ I want a little peace and quiet; a place to rest and relax for a while. (Smoky bars wreck havoc with my sinuses.) Sometimes I want to wait and recharge for another session, other times I just want to wait until the line isn’t so long.
It’s times like this I find are perfect for me to visit Viva Mex. It always seems to make my trip to TJ that much better.
I’m glad to find somebody else enjoys Viva Mex too.
After the STD testing, aids, ect.
Does the patient receive a written report relating to the test?

Hey Burt, You said you take Viagra. Ever try the others like Cialis? I think I've reached the age where I need alittle help in that dept. What dosage should a newbie start with?
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
We thank you for your purchase!
Membership should be activated shortly. You'll receive notification!
