ok... so this other night i went with a friend to TJ just going to the strip bars on Revolution.. This guy comes up to us and starts telling us about massage parlors where the girl lines up and you pick and choose the massuse with discussion and price of what else you want to do...
has any one been to one of these massage parlors and your 2 cents worth?... I'm thinking of going to them in a few weeks.. just want to know if its worth it or not

I use this name when I come to the tj Board because that is often what I feel like I am when I'm in the situation you described.  You are a money machine to many people there you will meet and, until you get to know people a bit more down there, it eventually feels like shit.  But that's just my opinion and I don't know if others will agree.

But I do know a lot of the regular posters on this Board will have strong opinions on this topic and many of them have a lot more experience there than me - but this is what I know about what you asked....

The guys who want to take you to a MP will get money from the MP when they get your ass in the door.  They will get more money, I think, if you spend some.  This does NOT mean they will not expect, perhaps even demand, and also deserve, some money from you.  A dollar goes far.  That is the way they make a living and it is considered, I think, normal there.  (Although I more or less suspect that it may not be great for those guys to meet their new gf's parents and tell them, when asked what they do for a living, that they takes gringos to MPs.)  

The guys who lead you to the MPs are not leading you to the best MPs with the hottest women, they will lead you to the MP that is a combination of both close to wherever they met you and pays them the most when they get you there.  Cabbies will do the same.  Understand me on this one point if nothing else: you are an ATM that breathes when you enter that world down there.  Maybe the same is true here - it probably is.  But it is more obvious when you do not speak the language and the financial differences are so much more apparent.

That said, there are GREAT mps in tj.  With hot women that charge signficantly less than the US.  MP women are not, ususally, GFE.  But they sometimes are.  This is where you stop feeling like an ATM.  It IS possible to meet someone there with whom you really connect and who will treat you incredibly nice.  This is possible both in the clubs - like Adelitas and Chicago Club, which you did not mention (do a search here with those words and you will soon find that this Board is mostly about those two clubs which you apparently missed on your last visit) -and at MPs.

You CAN be taken to MPs with great women by the guys who will come up to you on the street.  I have also been taken to MPs where I would have needed the women to pay me and I would still have walked away, where the smells can be worse than the sight of the very, very unattractive women who are there.  Both exist in tj.  If you are there three or four times, it will be easy to find both.

If you want to find the nicer massage parlors in tj, just do a search here with the word massage.  I know that Burt2010 posted a detailed list about one year ago and that I printed it and followed his excellent directions on it and have never needed to ask where to go again.  There is no need to repeat what he said - it is all there.

However, the MPs apparently change some over time.  There are a lot of posts here about which are currently better than others.  But I still would argue that that old list works great.  Many others here will disagree, but I prefer the nicer MPs to the bar girls - the experience is a bit more dignified to me.

There are four categories of providers.  In order of cost (most expensive to least expensive):  Internet escorts, Massage Parlor girls, bar girls, and street girls.

The standard deal at an MP is $40.00 to the house and $100.00 to the girl for full service.  ($140.00 total.) Of course, your negociation skills, day of the week, time of day, etc. all play a role in the price.

Some MPs offer a "package."  Which is a fixed price (maybe $80.00) for everything. You have to ask to get it. Often it will involve reduced time, reduced services, and/or an attempt to "upsell" in the room.

If a cab driver or barker takes a client to an MP he receives $10.00.  (Commissions, of course, vary.)  I've never had one ask me for a tip, but I'm sure that does happen.

There are many reasons you are better off going by yourself to an MP as opposed to having a cab driver or barker take you.  When somebody takes you it is like wearing a "sucker" sign.  The MP knows you are inexperienced. They won't come down in price.  (For example, many times I can get them to reduce the room fee since they don't have to pay a comission.)

Once upon a time, MP girls were "girl-next-door" types and getting a gfe session wasn't too hard. In 2004 many MPs were closed and the girls arrested.  (That changed when the PRI won the last election and took office in December 2004.) Sadly, this resulted in many "girl-next-door" types leaving the business. Those who stayed on are more hard-core, and less likely to provide a gfe.

I enjoy MPs. I don't like the smoke and noise of bars.  There is something nice about having a nude girl pamper you.  That being said, your dollar goes further with bar girls.  Sadly, those seeking a gfe are probably well advised to look elsewhere. These days you are more likely to obtain a gfe in a small bar than in a MP.  And, of course, Internet escorts have a well deserved reputation for providing gfe sessions.

I have started visiting TJ 2 - 4 times a month since my seperation. I had always used providers state side exclusively while married. I went to TJ understanding cost would be much less.

I had been taken to a MP once and found the girls not to my liking. I declined on the selection and hit left w/o a problem.

AD is my fav. I guess. I have met some hot GFE and then just some hot girls there. I like the atmosphere, having drinks, flirting and then the trip up stairs. Nice to have 2 or even three girls that night for the cost of one state side provider. I like the whole atsmophere. I just met a really hot / nice gal recently and will venture down Sat to meet her at AD.

I always seem to get tangled up at CC with girls that want to marry me or keep me to themselfs. I like to be affectionate and I guess this is taken to seriously by these girls. Kind of shy away from there as I don't want to have to tell one of these girls to take a hike. The prettier girls are more typically found at AD also.

Finaly i have spent many a happy hour with the Famous Tania in TJ. I spent a number of overniters and dinner with her, paying her $500.  plus dinner, taxi and the like. She is a really good GFE and I like fucking her and the GFE sceen. Usually would fuck her when i arrived, go to dinner Fuck again go to sleep and then fuck her in the morning. She also like a little pot and drinks. She did get in a conversation w/ me about my pending divorce and custody stuff that bummed me out. I haven't seen her since, she is or thinks she is intuitive.

So for me I would recomend AD, CC or a great provider like Tania.

No doubt Burt is the most reliable source of info on MP's and IMO just about anything else related to TJ (bars, restaurants, being safe etc). Now I will make a few comments on various points or questions raised in this thread (FWIW). I agree with Burt that your best bet is to avoid guys trying to hustle you to an MP for all the reasons he mentioned. Plus, the coppers might be suspicious of you dealing with the guy and may think you are scoring drugs. However, the two times I allowed myself to go that route I ended up with two of the finest looking girls I have seen in TJ. The second time I was looking for a particular girl and the guy took me to the Mermaids on 8th saying he knew she was there. The girl I was looking for was not there but I ended up with a genuine cutie 18-19 year old and semi GFE for about 90 minutes at $140. However, the guy hounded me for money and it was difficult getting rid of him. Yes, the MP's have changed as Burt stated. On one of my last TJ trips, Burt and I must have visited 6 or 8 MP's and I walked away unserviced from every one. But if you like a slow quiet more "intimate" time, MP's are probably better than bars. Of course you will be hard pressed to beat the service you will receive from Tania. I'll never forget her as long as I live. A World Class courtesan.
