during the day, you may get a better "deal" but it just depends on what you want in terms of negotiating.

I look at $10 as no big deal.

If I see a chica I am interested in, I may buy her a drink to get to know her. Sure the chica drinks are $7 but that's a good investment to see if she is nice or just a rush job. If  while you're sitting down having a drink, she downs her dirnk and either wants to go up or order another, time to pass.
If the chica is attentive, and playful while sitting next to each other, there's a good possibility, you'll have a great time. But you have to remember, some chicas are shy, some don't speak ANY English and speaking Spanish makes it a lot easier to negotiate and also connect with the chica for a great time.

Most chicas will quote $60 as a starting point. Some guys counter back with $40 and settle on $50. If  chica says $60, I'll usually come back with $50 and if you're really special and make me happy, I'll give you $60. Dangle the carrot in front of them to make you happy. For me, if it's the difference of $10 to make a session with a chica, mediocre to good, it's worth it to me.
