For the weekend.

I met someone I wanted to show San Diego to, and I need to find out what paperwork she may need or if saying that she is invited to a wedding or attending a funeral would be enough.

It can happen..check with a good immigration attorney.

I meant by bringing her over for a day or two using the B-2 tourist visa.

Or will a passport do the same thing?

I know that at least two AB girls have gotten married and living in the San Diego area.

the wedding thing can happen. It has to be wedding first, in Mexico, and there needs to be proof that the marriage is not a sham. Then the wedding has to last for at least seven years, or the girl loses her  immigration status. Back to AB for her :)

To be able to stay perm in US the marriage has to last on paper for 7 years. Divorce=deportation.
