I'm wondering how the pharmacy situation is these days;  I'm talking about bring really boring drugs back over the border, like cholestoral and BP meds.  Any advice?

no problem unless you act nervous and the customs/border agent has something to suspect you of......and will take you to a secondary interview room and they then, may search you.

a uniformed agent, after I was cleared, and he said that we can bring back a 90 day supply if you have a RX. He suggested making a copy to give to the Pharmacy and to keep the the original to show to customs.

Anyone know the best place and/or price on Paxil?

Ok Im latin and listen closely!!!! Do a search a of an american (san diegean) woman who is spending 5 yrs in a mexican prison!! SHE had a RX. MY advice make sure you only buy enough that is legal for a single use! Example....... The Pharmacies in mexico will sell it to you but if can be arrested and the pharmacy is in the clear because you have a prescription!!!!! THEY just want your money the pharmacies that is! I was so upset as an american who is latin american and speaks perfect spanish to find out the fate of this publicized insident. Lord knows how many unpublicized things happen in TJ!!!! BEWARE your freedom is worth more than saving a few bucks! GO to Adelitas instead and give the chicas your medicine if you know what i mean!! :-)

I heard on the news earlier this month that Mexican law requires that the prescription be written by a Mexican doctor. The newscast was mainly on US seniors sentenced to lengthy terms for buying meds w/o the proper prescription. To bring meds across the border, US Customs only requires that you have a valid prescription and no more than a 90-day supply.
