Does anyone have a recommendation for a nice hotel to stay a couple of days in?  I have read La Premier and La Mansion are nice.  Is one better than the other or any other recommmendations?

I don't believe you can stay overnight in either, at least not with in and out priveledges.  You may want to look into the Pueblo Amigo.

Nevermind, I did my research through past posts.

I was at La Mansion with Lara/Yummy Blonde. It was really cool. Also it's close to the clubs, restaurants and bars in the Rio Zone, a nice part of town. So you can use it as a rest stop between places, or get really hammered and take a cab back to the hotel.  The shower is really great there also.

La Mansion is great.  No cabe duda.

But...
-Zona Rio is not close to clubs, ZN, etc.
-When you leave you can't come back.

La Mansion is a "love motel" set up for short term usage.  There is a four hour stay limit on weekends.  You have to pay more (about double) to get in and out privlidges, which are only available on weekdays. You don't get a key.  When leaving you lock the door and have the desk clerk/gate man let you back in you room.

Many mogers like the Pueblo Amigo. It's a first rate hotel near the border.  It is also close to Boleros stip club and Luxor MP.  And it's a $5 cab ride to the Zona Norte.

Downtown most mongers prefer the Villa Zaragosa.  In the Zone Norte itself Hotel del Santiago is the best choice.  Neither are the equal of the PA or Zona Rio hotels.

I stayed in the Villa Zaragosa one time. It was easier to walk to the zona but after that visit, I have stayed at the Pueblo Amigo every time. It is a nice hotel, rooms are large and well appointed. There is a restaurant in the hotel with reasonably good food. Also a bar and sports betting if you are into that. I have had chicas come to my room at the PA a couple of times with no problem.
