Curious if anyone goes to the other clubs.  I am very much a gringo but speak Spanish well.  Maybe that is why I enjoy Rio Verde, valentines, chavalas, etc. But surprised that almost all discussion is about HK.  One thing I have noticed a out other clubs is the girls rely on making money from drinks and taxi dancing more so than going upstairs but have only been turned down once.  I find a better variety in these bars and better music.  Anyone else go to the "other" bars?  Honestly, I don't like HK.

I avoid Hong Kong.  Fundamentally it is a bar for "newbies" who don't know their way around La Coahuila.

I much prefer small bars where.  Better deals can definitely be had in the small bars, especially by those who speak Spanish.

These days Rio Verde is tame.  I stated going to Baja in the 1980s and back in the "bad old days"  when leaving Rio Verder you literally had to have a mesero escort you to a taxi if you didn't want to get mugged.
