Okay....after reading all the posts about everyone having a good time in TJ, I decided to try an adventure on my own.  
I tried to set up a small group to go with me last minute, but due to scheduling it was not possible.  I want to thank all those who PM'd me.  

So instead of going to Chicago or Adelitas by myself, I decided to go the safe route and schedule an appointment with one of the girls from Escort Mexico (Raquel, Tania, Renata, etc.)
I agreed upon meeting at 10am in front of the Caliente Sport Book.  It's relatively easy to find, as it is directly across the street from the McDonalds.  All you have to do is look up and find the McDonalds sign and you're there.  

Now for the adventure....
I'm waiting for her to come pick me up.  I don't know if it's by car or in person.  I just wait.  Before hand she asked in advance what I was going to wear.  Since I wanted to stand out, I told her that I'd be wearing a bright Yellow Lakers Jersey (Don't get me started on the Lakers).  

So as I was waiting, all of a sudden a red car comes driving by and there's a girl staring me down.  She looked really confused, so she just drove off.  She again comes back and I think she's trying to decide if I'm the person she needs to pick up.  So I hop in the car and we go for a short ride.  The girl speaks no English, and the only thing I can comprehend is that "are you to see Tania?"  I say no.  and I think she wanted to take me back anyways.  I decline her offer and I told her that I was to see someone else and to drop me back off at Caliente.  I later found out that she was Candi.  I think she only does doubles with Tania.  Not too sure on that one.

As I was being dropped off, another dude see's the red car and then goes in.  I think that was the guy that was suppose to get picked up.  So in the back of my mind I'm thinking, business must be good for 10am on Saturday!

Anyways, at 10:15am, my provider came by foot and introduced herself.  I was pleasantly surprised and so was she.  Her place was a few blocks away, and I had a good time.  I'm sure my second time around will be volcanic (i took it easy).

Some tips for TJ:
1. It REALLY HELPS if you know some Spanish.  I just bought a portable English-Spanish dictionary.
2. Bring Bottled water.  It is really hot in TJ during summer.
3. Don't bring your wallet.  Just take your ID and cash.  Put some small bills in your pocket and the providers money in your shoe.  There were a lot of people bumping into me on purpose.
4. Dress casual and wear walking shoes.  YOU will be doing a lot of standing and walking.
