Hello all I wil be staying in Ensenada for a couple of days in January and I was wondering which of the better hotels in Ensenada are provider friendly and are also within walking distance or cheap cab ride of Anthony's. Thanks Mark

I've stayed at the Casa del Sol Motel (a Best Western) many, many times - toll free reservations at: 1-877-316-1684, e-mail:  [email protected], address:  Calle Lopez Mateos, which is about six or seven long blocks from Anthonys.  Rates are around $50+ on the weekends, mid $40's during the week.  It fills up quickly on weekends but if you pay for two nights up front Heliodoro Reyes can usually find you a room.  Clean, comfortable, good shower, television, nice large pool, very nice bar (two complimentary margaritas upon registration).  I've taken many different ladies to my room for the entire night with nary a blink of an eye from management.  Like all south of the border, fluency in Spanish is a great asset.  Good luck and if you see Rosie, tall, very slender, dynamite smile, late 30's at Anthony's dela a ella un beso para mi!  Buena suerte.

Mark, That old YMMV comes into play.  I have had all night fun with a very good looking Mexicana back at my motel for as little as $150 - usually a long session that night and a good wake-up session in the morning - and as much as $250.  All depends upon the woman, the time of night you ask her, i.e., the later in the evening usually the cheaper, how busy she's been during the evening, your negotiating/Spanish speaking skills, her age, etc.  One warning - some of the ladies at Anthony's dress very provocative and might cause raised eyebrows or worse at the motel, try to find one you like who will not cause attention by her dress.  If you just want a "quick" half hour or a bit more you can pay the woman the $18 'take-out-fee' to the bar and go right next door to a flea bag - it'll cost you from $10-$15 for the hour - hotel.  Rates for these "quickies" range from $60 to $100 depending upon what fee you negotiate with the lady prior to leaving the bar.  What works for me at times is to pay for the flea bag along with $60-$80 for the quickie and then, if we are both having a good time, ask her to come back to my motel for the night.  I usually end up taking the woman home the next day, sometimes after eating breakfast together.  However some do not want you to know where they live so I give them $5 for cab fare and send them on their way.  Anthony's often has an incredible variety of women from young, with tats girls dressed in very little, to older women, to young girls just up from the boonnies and still sporting their traditional bangs.  Ensenada is much more "laid back" than Tijuana, prices for rooms, drinks, great sea food and women are lower.  The drive down is beautiful and will cost you around $13 down and back for the toll fees.  For me the best nights are Sunday and Monday.  Good luck, have fun and enjoy.
