Change is not always good - LENGTHY

Been  long time monger for TJ for a while now, and I see the new changes that are going on in the scene down there to be no good whatsoever.

1. Tijuana is trying to eliminate it's reputation for sin. Now I know this has been true for ages that they have been trying to loose that stigma, it looks like they are doing a decent job.  But it kills the quality of girls who work there. Hottie central aint what it used to be.
2. Asshole cops. Be warned, the shakedowns are in effect for guys who just walk out of Adelita's and the like down there. Saw two guys frisked  (who I met and had a beer with in Adelita's) and one of the new young bike riding cops pocketed the some of the money.
3. Americanization: It was bad enough when we had the guys on the street pushing the "massage" clubs when we're all there for something else. Now, we got pimps. Yes, muchachos and muchachas, PIMPS pushing their girls on the Red Zone. Guys making sure their girls are making the money and picking up and dropping them off from appointments. I respected a girl who was doing it on her own down there on the street, or had an arragenment with one of theclubs. But pimps just add a whole new level to the scene (as a threat), and not good.
4. Americanization part II: Ugly drugged out American girls who try to take the action away from the locals. The one american working at a bar got hauled out and roughed up by the bar backs. And I see a few more girls who don't speak Spanish working TJ.
5. Gays: Nothing personal against them, the more gay men men means the more women available. Except when they are hitting on me as wait for my buddy to finish from his session with a girl or when I'm walkng across the street. Nothing kills my mood for playtime faster than that... and transvestites being aggressive.

Anyone have similar experience lately?

Get an eye on the August elections.  My guess is that if PAN wins the "clean up Tijuana" bandwagon will pick up steam.  Whereas if PRI wins we're likely to see a return to the "good old days."
