Where is it...do you have to walk over the river crossing to get to it...or need to take a taxi?

Hi, there are 5 super close to the border. One actually is next to the last pharmacy when walking back into the US(by the pedestrian line).

One across from McDonalds
Three at or near the Pueblo Amigo

If you are just making some bets and leaving, the lines are the same at each place. If you are wanting to hang out, watch the games or races, then maybe the one next to Pueblo Amigo is best.  They have a restaurant and you can order apetizers, steaks, hamburgers, ect..and they serve beer as well(not sure about alcohol).

They do take 1.5% of your winnings.

And of course one in the alley, across from Hong Kong Bar.  I think the guy wanted one close to the border, though...

There are around 15 of them in town, but if he is worried about security, then the one by the pharmacy, on the pedestrian crossing side, would be best.  He is only two minutes from the border and could make a mad dash with his cash...

But if he wants to spend his winnings on a chica, he can go to the one in the alley and then make a mad dash across the street to Hong Kong.  :D

But if he wants all that PLUS a decent place to watch a game and decen food while he's doing it, then Pueblo Amigo is the spot.

If he wants really good food and decent TVs and doesn't mind a half hour drive to a provider, then La Fonda's bar is the place to go!
