Just a few days after I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes* waiting in the pedestrian line at Otay Mesa to re-enter the US from Mexico, I went again yesterday (Saturday January 9th) and there was no line at all! I jumped out of a taxi at Otay border crossing on the Mexican side after seeing the chica, and about a minute later, I was back in the US.

It just goes to show you, you never know WHAT to expect! Ha!
