Thinking about a long weekend in TJ.  I see teamjuanita recommends some on their website.  Any preferences on the Board here?  I was thinking about Camino Real, just because I've liked their other properties.

What is important to you.  Some hotels offer advantages that others don't have.  I would say the Camino Real is nice, quiet, and located where you can walk to the mall or a nice restaurant.

Well discretion is key, but given some posts on safety issues south of the border, some place safe and easy to get to/from are also important.

I think the Camino Real is discreet and close to restaurants, malls, etc.  Only 5 minutes from the border.  I would bet you would be happy there.
