A Meet and Greet is just as the title implies.  It is a way for ladies and gents to meet each other in a public place and make new friends, see old friends, drink, eat, and just have a good time.  Think of it as a Cocktail Party.  All attendees are screened by the host.  No exceptions.

The main difference is that the attendees all happen to be hobbiests and providers.  Nothing happens there other than setting up future trysts between consenting adults.  Or, the exchange of info for future reference.

If you are going to one, take some $ in case you happen to get real lucky and make a date for afterwards.

As I have said in my previous instructions for M and G's.  It is perfectly fine to exchange phone numbers and emails.  It is not advisable to make a date at the party.  And quite frankly, if I hear about it at one of my parties, I'll let the folks know that.  If for no other reason, while I screen pretty heavily for my parties, I always recommend that ladies do their own screening prior to seeing someone.

Where hobbyists and providers get together socially.  Depending on where and how these are organized, these may be cocktail parties held in a public venue, or private events held in hotel suites or personal residences that allow more latitude for misbehavior. In general, attending these events requires you to have standing in the community, i.e., you need to be able to be screened via multiple references.
