Is there a date yet. I am touring the NE in May & June would love to attend.

I do not know if a date has been set . A couple have people have offered to set it up . I suggested May 14th with May 12th as a backup date but since this is my first meet and greet I will leave it up to the experts

I've sent a couple of PMs here offering to help with the arrangements but so far no one replied.  I think May 12 would give us better response as a lot of hobbyists shy away from weekends due to families but a Wednesday afternoon/evening would be easier for them.

A weeknight would be better for me..  I would be hip to May 12th!

this subject has also been brought up on another site soo if we can set a date i will bring it up within the other review board and try to expand attendance.

I live in the area and work at the other casino across the river.  I would love to attend, and would be happy to lend a hand to the organizers.  Security is omnipresent at the casinos, so discretion is very important.  The MGM Casino, the newest part of the property, is also home to The Shrine nightclub, which will be a good place to have a drink or two.  I look forward to the event.  I went to a M&G in Tampa a while ago, and everybody had a good time.  15-20 of us had dinner at Ruth's Chris afterwards, and Foxwoods has plenty of good dining options.

We are lucky that Amber Ashley has stepped up to co-host this event because she really knows how to throw a party so this could be the first of many Foxwoods events!

Unfortunately Amber is very busy in May and is hoping you wouldn't mind if we pushed it into June.We were thinking June 5th (Friday night).

Please let us know whether this date works for you or do we want a Thursday evening (June 3rd)?

Fridays are really bad days to try to set something like this up.  Too many people have family problems disappearing on a Friday night.  Wednesday or Thursdays seem to be the most popular with hobbyists and providers both.

I had also heard from many people suggesting we steer clear of the casinos.  Too much security, cameras, etc.  Might be much better off in a private room at a restaurant, etc.  The ones I have been to in the past were always in private rooms at either bars or strip clubs... no one notices anything except age in those places.
