For the ladies and the gents, which is better:

- Weeknight (Sunday - Thursday)
- Weekend night (Friday - Saturday)

- Earlier in the evening (start time between 6 and 8)
- Later in the evening (start time between 8 and 10)

Thanks in advance for your replies, planning an SF Meet and Greet soon.

Juls

Tues or Weds eve would definitely be best for the ladies as well as the gents.  And an earlier time....begin the party during typical "happy hour" time frame. This helps some of the gents who need n excuse to be "late for dinner". Plus...it gives more time later in the evening if two consenting adults happen to meet....fall in love and want to spend a little time getting to know one another.

The advantage of the Tues/Weds choice is it allows touring ladies to arrive the day of and then have a few days post the M&G to make new friends.

Have fun in SF !

If it is close enough to home (which for me is the NYC metro area) to drive to, probably on a weeknight, Thursday night preferable.  If I am travelling long distance such as to Florida or Vegas, week-ends are better.  As for the time, I generally do not arrive until after 8:00 PM, regardless of venue.

Hope this helps, Juls.  Haven't been to the Bay Area since '02...one of these times...

We recognize that the Washington DC area has its own individual issues to deal with, however, some of the comments below would probably apply everywhere.

We have found that mid-week, weekday evenings are the best (more specifically Wednesday) and here is why;

Ladies who happen to be touring usually travel here on Monday's and leave on Thursday or Friday. The weekend business here for ladies is not very goog, as we have been told.

A lot of people in this lifestyle have families, SO's and other obligations on the weekends thereby making it more difficult to get away for a party.

A lot of people combine this lifestyle with their work, thereby keeping that separation between this and their personal lives.

Having early evening parties that start right after most people get off work allow that "gap" of time between work and home to be filled with this lifestyle. We have noticed that our crowds start to thin out a bit by 8:00-8:30 as people make their way home to get some sleep before heading back to work the next day.

Those are just a few thoughts "Juls". If you have other questions, please, feel free to write us at: [email protected].

Thanks to everyone for the great ideas and suggestions, it really helps.

J
