For the past several years, I have hosted very large parties in the LA area. My last one was in Aug. I've stepped down from hosting them. I have turned over the reins to another respected hobbiest. At this point, I have not heard of any immediate plans for the next LA party.
However, there is a private party that the same hobbiest is setting up. While small, they are a lot of fun in a very intimate setting.
