I have never been to a M&G, but might be soon.

If going to a M&G, how do things usually work with regard to arrangements with the ladies? Do some providers go solo, with the plan of snagging a client at the event for later in the evening? I'm sure many also have pre-arranged meetings.

Generally, how likely would a guy be to meet someone on-site, versus leaving unaccompanied? Assume the guy has verifiable references (probably attending the event), donation on hand,  etc.

Just pondering the pros and cons of making an arrangement with somoene I've seen or taking the gamble of going stag seeing if someone new suits my fancy. Any particular etiquette issues to be especially aware of in this circumstance?

It depends. Some people make arrangement before the party, some people wait to see who will be at the party.
From my experience, most of the ladies don't have any plans before and make arrangement at the party. It is a gamble because you are not sure to be able to leave with the person you want...
But there are allways a lot of beautifull ladies at these Meet and Greet and I am sure you will be able to find somebody.

It can depend.

I've gone with a lady and we spend our time separately at the party then head "home" together.

Many of the ladies are there with no set plans for after.  Just know that even though you have been screened for the party, some ladies may not see you w/out doing their own screening.

If you know some you are interested in someone, you can always be pre-screened incase you click at the party.

I have planned for a rendezvous before hand and brought the lady with me to the party. She left with someone else. Other times I have just showed up , had fun, and gone home with a list of new people to see.

I think both scenarios are pretty common. Don't expect all the ladies to be available that night, but don't be afraid to ask.
