Does anybody else wonder why us married men want a meet and greet in LA in the afternoon, perhaps at a hotel pool, because we can't get out of the house at night?!!

I expect a lot of people can get out of home for a few hours a more easily than getting out of work.  Make plans with a college friend, or something.

Evening M&G's might be bad for you, but they are better for almost everyone else.

But, you never know.  You can certainly try to plan one, and who knows, maybe it will be successful.

Well speaking as the Host of the past few LA Meet and Greets, I think u will find that attendance at any party done during the day will be very small.  For reasons such as gents not getting away from work, ladies not getting away from work (lol), availability of an appropriate venue (my parties typically are 125 to 150 people).  I'm sure if you wanted to, you could try it.  But imho, it would be very poorly attended.

I agree...an afternoon M&G is an interesting concept and you never know, it could be a nice turnout for the lunch group.

Join a club that your wife would never join, or start hitting the gym a night or two during the week.  Get a buddy to cover your back (I think they're called "beards"?) if you have one you can trust enough.

Otherwise, go for it and organize an afternoon event.  It's worth a shot.

...limiting the number of men you'd attract.  Also, some of the ladies have civvie jobs as well during the day.
