I certainly wasn't one that pm'd you but when one runs a m&g they are responsible for any of those ladies (that are invited) safety!

I have learned through the years NOT to take that lightly!

Right now the Nyc community needs to take time to reflect on what went on at the last one as to WHY Miki was Dis-Invited.  There may very well end up to being two groups having M&G's though the two men that ran the last one, were not from New York.  They might very well pick another city, who knows but I wouldn't know anything about that.

But for sure the next M&G will indeed be in New York City,  for the purpose of having a great, great time, as that would be what Miki would of wanted her friends and acquaintances to do!

We are all reflecting now, so please give it some time and I am sure you will be contacted if you are a part of our community.

Respectfully,

Octavia

how was there an M&G in new york without the opportunity for people to attend?  that's weak.

Are you sure.....11018 reads

Security is always strong and smart. Why allow blabber mouths to attend so that they can cause the same trouble that they did in D.C.? A M&G WITHOUT strong security really IS WEAK!

as someone who lives near DC, I can agree with you there, they had to cancel all the meet and greets because of some "bad apples" who threatened to ruin it for everyone, it does suck, as the one I did go to, I had a really good time and got to meet alot of people I had seen posting on the board.

come on, people.  i get the security issues involved.
but why not give reviewers the opportunity to at least have a chance at attending an M&G?  all it would take is a post that says "Anyone interested in an NYC M&G?  PM for details."  at this point, the organizers would have the opportunity to screen visitors, without having to divulge details.  it's really not that difficult.

and thanks again to the two NYC organizers that PM'ed me.  you know who you are!! looking forward to the next one.

Did you ever consider that they don't want a national well renowned board involved in the M&G?

Your reviews are not a measure of your legitamacy in real life.  A M&G involves real life identities.  Perhaps if you get rid of the chip on your shoulder you'll get invited more quickly next time.

Many active posters, both men and women, knew of the party and had the opportunity to invite others whom they personally knew to be legit.

It was a well attended affair and a good time.

There will be other parties.  The best way to be sure you are on the invite list is to participate on the NYC board, and to patronize the women who post there regularly.

Thank you for finally answering the question of how one gets an invite to M&G. Everyone else just danced around the original question by yelling "security." I assume one has to see providers who "post" on the discussion boards, not just ones reviewed on TER

Waterclone had it.  Seems the trick is to be active on the NYC board, be familiar with ladies who are well-known in the NYC (TER) community, and to have good referrals (I think this is where the white list comes in handy).

I would love to attend a meet and greet. I'm a real person on the message boards, how can I attend?

I do hope that a party is dedicated to Miki in NYC soon.  I would hope that it is put together by a true friend.. who loved and endured all of what Miki stood for.  I find it troubling to receive emails from those that disinvited her to the last one, to only want to invite me to one honoring her.  Something feels awkward and humiliating about it.  Just my two cents.

if you DO have a "remember the best of Miki party".  I do think she would love that idea. :)
