Since I actually announced the first Philly/Atlantic City M&G (which will be in the fall) and then the date for this other one was announced and the Connecticut one was announced WAY in advance I wouldn't cancel one RSVP to attend another party, even if it's on my hometown.  Sorry, but ladies who plan get togethers have to deal with possible low attendance if they announce their event late AND on the same day as another one.  I wouldn't worry about it.  There will be ladies at both events, but a lot more in CT.  But a smaller event may be more to your liking.
