If there's a locked thread due to a trainwreck, posting to it is likely to get you moderated.

So, unless you like going on moderated status, don't post to locked threads.

You know he is cool, and will extend the maximum amount of consideration before reigning in those who need to be restrained.  Best thing to do is not push your fellow hobbyists...rather, go out and visit your provider friends.  End of the day, that's what's it's all about...
