Any meet and greet Indiana?

I have been to one M&G.  The ratio was 1 provider to 4 hobbyists, even worse at some points.  Seemed kind of one sided to me.  Is this normally the way it is?

2 providers to every 1 hobbyist...oh wait, that was part of my wet dream :-D  On a serious not, I was expecting in the lines of 1 provider to every 2 hobbyists.  Thought it was just me, but since you have been to some real good ones for a 50/50 split, I see now that I am in a town not so popular with the ladies.  Thanks for your answer.

The ideal ratio is about 6:5 women/men.  But that only happens at relatively small parties, not the bigger ones.  The bigger ones at their best are about 50:50, but there's an over/under of up to 10%.  

Regardless of the numbers, it's worth it to attend an M&G if you want.

with those ratios, and I am sure it was well worth showing up.  My experience was not so good, and I seriously doubt that I will go to one again.  Thank you for sharing your experience on the subject, I will keep it in mind should I get invited to one again.

We had a 5:4 ratio for Halloween and the "pre-game" stats for Friday is 7:5.   So what was that about "not the bigger ones"?  :)

My personal opinion is that it's best to have slightly more men than women.  If there are more women, then they are less likely to get new clients and thus less likely to attend future events.  But we both think the number should be very close.  We don't want a 2:1 ratio, or worse, in either direction

Sometimes it helps to quit counting and move  on a hunch .  
 
 If you subtract all the guys sitting at tables , like they're concentrating in a tournament  poker game , or talking amongst themselves at the bar , the ratio now becomes ,  four providers to each hobbyist .  
   
   That's the way it was , last time I attended a M@G .  :-D

All I know is there are plenty of providers to talk with. Maybe bond or Astra will see this thread and give you specifics.

Generally, of the parties I hosted at 150 or more (which was most of them), the ratio was 60:40 in favor of the guys.  A couple I did it were 50:50.
