A post by a respected Provider on the Phoenix Discussion Board criticized the event held in Scottsdale on June 6, 2026, describing it as a significant waste of time and money. Only two providers and one hobbyist attended, assuming this was a TER-related event. They were surprised that no one else associated with TER attended and were disappointed to find that 39 other businesspeople were present for a business meet-and-greet instead of a TER meet-and-greet. Most of the business attendees had never heard of TER.

As another reminder, this is a M&G not a place or event to do business. Meet people, network, connect, and it you hit it off, exchange contacts. Then reach out and make plans outside of the venue and event.

The *1* thing that made me go, hmmm was mentioning photo booths and photographer being part of the M&G. As someone who has attended many throughout the years and co-hosted 3, that gave me pause.  

At every M&G I've been involved in, taking photos was not only grounds from being kicked out of the M&G, but being banished from attending future M&Gs.  

I hope no one buys the OP trying to host anything on using TER as a place to post. Very shady and misleading!

Outside of this thread the guy has 3 board posts, all a year ago.  

 
My opinion is that he's a scammer and he should get thrown off of TER for pulling this stunt.
